The website is rarely the hard part. The hard part is the twelve-year-old ERP with one undocumented endpoint and nobody left who remembers how it works.
What the work involves
A spike before an estimate
We test the risky connection first, in a throwaway prototype, before quoting the project around it. An hour here regularly saves a month later.
Sync direction decided deliberately
Which system is the source of truth for each field, and what happens when both change. This single decision causes most integration bugs.
Failure handling
Retries, queues and alerts, because the other system will be down at some point and your website should not lose the order when it is.
Common UAE integrations
Payment gateways that settle locally, WhatsApp Business, courier and fulfilment APIs, accounting and VAT-compliant invoicing.
CRM and ERP
Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Odoo, SAP and the custom system somebody built in 2011. The last category takes the longest and we say so.
Documented contracts
What is sent, what is expected back, and what happens on error. Written down so the next change does not need archaeology.
Questions we get asked
Our system has no API. Now what?
There is usually a path: a database view, a scheduled export, or a small service in front of the legacy system. We establish which during discovery rather than promising first.
How do you price integrations?
Separately from the rest of the build, after the spike. Anyone quoting an integration to an unfamiliar system without testing it is guessing with your budget.
Can you fix an integration somebody else built?
Frequently. We audit what exists, document the actual behaviour, then decide with you whether to repair it or replace it.
What about data protection?
Personal data mapped, transfers encrypted, retention agreed. This matters more once data starts crossing between systems and borders.
Tell us what it has to do
Send the requirement, however roughly it is written. You get back the questions we would need answered, the integrations we would test first, and a realistic range.
